NOCK‑2 Tablet is a prescription NSAID-analgesic combination that delivers rapid symptom relief by combining two complementary mechanisms. Nimesulide selectively inhibits COX‑2 enzymes, reducing inflammation and pain, while Paracetamol acts centrally to lower fever and improve pain relief.
It is indicated for acute or chronic pain and inflammatory conditions such as tension headache, migraine, dental pain, menstrual cramps, muscle and back pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and fever .
The usual adult dosage is one tablet twice daily, typically with food or milk to reduce stomach irritation. It’s important to use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration—usually not beyond 10–15 days—to minimize risks .
Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach upset, dizziness, drowsiness, and peripheral swelling. Mild elevations in liver enzymes may also occur .
