NIXIDOX Capsule is a prescription antibiotic–probiotic combination designed to treat a wide range of bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, acne, rosacea, sexually transmitted infections (e.g., chlamydia, gonorrhea), and intra‑abdominal infections . The Doxycycline (100 mg) component inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, effectively halting the growth of many Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens. Meanwhile, the Lactobacillus probiotic replenishes beneficial gut flora to reduce the risk of diarrhea and other digestive disturbances during antibiotic use .

The standard adult dosage is one capsule taken with or after food—preferably with water—and at the same time each day. To avoid esophageal irritation, patients are advised not to lie down for at least 30 minutes after ingestion . It’s important to complete the full prescribed course, even if symptoms improve early, to prevent bacterial resistance .
